I attended the Canterbury District Meeting at Ash-next-Sandwich today [12 July] when the presentation of a certificate commemorating Stanley’s 70 year membership and 40 years as a Vice President of KCACR. He was made a member at St Margaret’s Rochester on 29 July 1944 and was made a Vice President at the AGM in 1974.
A gift of two wine glasses and two bottles of St Emillion wine together with the certificate and a cake were presented to him by Mike Little, Chairman of KCACR.
Stanley thanked everyone for their kindness and said he was very proud of being a member of KCACR.
