Our Annual District Meeting will take place on Saturday 11th October at St Dunstan’s Canterbury. The format is as follows: ringing from 2pm, service at 3.30 followed by tea, meeting and further ringing if requested.
Members are welcome to join us for the whole afternoon, or part if preferred, should you wish to book a place for tea please email  by Wednesday 8th October. The address is 80 London Road, Canterbury, CT2 8LS. Limited parking is available in the church/hall car park or in nearby roads.
Toilet facilities are available.
As we will be electing District Officers for the coming year, a nomination form is attached to this email. There are vacancies for the positions of District Representative and District Training Officer, so it would be great to hear if anyone is interested in taking on those roles, but that of course does not preclude anyone from standing for any District Officer positions if they think they can do a better job that the current incumbent! Please contact me for a detailed Role Description for any of these posts.
The District Committee is proposing two changes to the District Striking Competition rules (method ringing competition). Both rule change proposals bring the District Competition rules into line with the rules of the Association 6-bell Method Competition, which the District Competition acts as a qualifying competition for. Please view the attached document for full details and the complete current rules.
Look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at St Dunstan’s.
