Announcements:
- August Meeting: We don’t have a scheduled Ashford District Meeting for August; however, the Canterbury District are holding a meeting at Quex Park on the 17th of August,for which Ashford members are invited to. Ringing will be at approximately 3pm, with food at 5pm. If you would like to join for food, please email by August 14th.
- July Meeting Minutes: The minutes from our July meeting are here, for adoption at the October Annual District Meeting.
- County 6-Bell Competition: The County 6-Bell striking competition is being held at Beckenham on the 28th September. There are two competitions: a call-change competition and a method competition. The call-change competition is open to any bands, even cross-district. The method competition is still an entry per District. The ringing masters will aim to put a team together for the method competition, but if you would like to enter a team for the call-change competition, please let us know!
- Handbells: At the July District Meeting, Sue Childs asked if there was any District interest in Handbell practices. If you would be interested, please let us know and we can see if there is enough interest.
