Ashford District Update February 2024

Announcements:

KCACR Handbook: A reminder that the deadline for updates to go into the 2024 KCACR Handbook is this Sunday (11th February). This includes both membership renewals and tower updates. Please reach out if you need help, or to the KCACR membership secretary, Doug Davis ( ).
February District Meeting: This will be at Saltwood [CT21 4QA] on Saturday 17th February from 10:00 – 12:00.

Monday 1st April:Kent County Association AGM at Rainham [Rochester District]
Saturday 18th May:Meeting at Frittenden, ringing 10:00-12:00 only.
June: Outing date & venues TBA
Saturday 20th July: Meeting at Wittersham, ringing 10:00-12:00 with a business meeting after.
Saturday 21st September: Meeting at Newchurch, ringing 10:00-12:00 only.
Saturday 19th October:District ADM at Ashford TBC
Saturday 16th November: Meeting at Charing, ringing 10:00-12:00 only.

If you fancy venturing out during the week- below is a list of practice nights that would welcome your attendance.

Monday

Tuesday

Ashford 19:50 – 21:00 (Usually preceded by a pre-practice quarter peal)

Wittersham 19:30 – 21:00 (Please contact before attending)

Wednesday

Cheriton & Dover joint practice 3rd Wednesday 7:30-9:00 Location TBC

Thursday

Willesborough 19:30-21:00 (every third Thursday)

Pluckley

Friday

Brabourne 14:30 – 16:00

Saturday

Folkestone: 1st Saturday of the month 10:30 – 12:00
