Saturday 8th February – District Bye Meeting at St Alphege, Whitstable
The next Canterbury District Meeting will be on Saturday 8th February at St Alphege, Whitstable (8 bells, 3-1-13 in G)
The format is as follows: ringing from 2pm, service at 3.30 followed by tea and meeting. There will then be evening ringing at All Saints Graveney (3 bells 6-3-19 in C).
Members are welcome to join us for the whole afternoon, or part if preferred, should you wish to book a place for tea please email  by Wednesday 5th February. Please be aware that, in a change from the usual fare, the St Alphege ringers will be providing jacket potatoes with various fillings.
The church of St Alphege is in the High Street in Whitstable, the recommendation from the local band is to park in the car park in Middle Wall, postcode CT5 1BN, you will see a P sign coming into town down the High Street just before you get to the church. You can then walk through an alley by the Playhouse to get to the church.
For those wanting a tower grab our evening ringing will be at All Saints Graveney, the timing will be dependant on the finishing time of the meeting but likely around 6pm. The address is Seasalter Rd, Graveney, Faversham ME13 9DZ. Oxford Treble Place and Titanic would be slightly more challenging options we may ring.
