A Canterbury District Call Change Practice will be taking place on Saturday 15-Feb-2025 from 10:00-11:30 at Chartham.
This practice is aimed at those who are aware of the principals of Call Changes and would like to gain further practice with particular attention to good striking.
You should already be familiar with how calls are made (we will support calling-up and calling-down) and have achieved the necessary bell control to ring call changes.
The practice will also provide an opportunity for anyone who has started conducting call changes to practice calling.
If this practice becomes heavily subscribed we we may need to limit attendees (excluding helpers). This will be managed on a first come basis via the Ringing Master’s email, with a maximum of 2 from any one tower. Others will go onto a reserve list (in case we have any cancellations).
The District Ringing Masters would like to hear from those interested in coming to the practice, and from more experienced ringers who could help.
