Canterbury District Plain Major Practice

A Canterbury District Plain Major Practice will be taking place on Saturday 30-Nov-2024 from 10:00-12:00 at St Stephen’s, Canterbury.  Please let the District Ringing Masters know (email canterburyringingmaster@kcacr.org.uk), by 22-Nov-2024, if you intend to come to this practice and what you can come prepared to ring or are learning.

This practice will be an opportunity for those experienced with 6-bell method ringing to practice basic 8-bell method ringing, and for those with experience of Plain Bob Major to look at other basic methods such as Little Bob, St Clement’s, Single Oxford, and Double Bob Major.  If we have sufficient interest from more experienced ringers we might have the opportunity to revisit something like Double Norwich Court Bob Major.

We will be asking each attendee to make a £1 tower donation.
