The Guildford Diocesan Guild are organising a Youth Striking Competition for the ringing associations in the South East, which has been tentatively set for Saturday 2nd April.
No details of venue or timings have been decided yet, but the Guildford Diocesan Guild are organising, so you can get a rough idea of where to travel to. The competition will be run along the same lines as the the Ringing World National Youth Contest (all ringers aged 18 or under, teams of eight, choice of call changes or a touch of Triples/Major).
Please contact me if you are interested, as this can be regarded as a dry run for the RWNYC which we would be aiming to enter this year. I am particularly thinking of some of the ringers who participated in the KCACR youth competition in October.
