KYR outing Saturday 4th January 2025
We enjoyed a splendiferous outing to start the new year!
17 youngsters aged 7-18, 3 leaders, 6 parents. 1 FREEZING cold tower (6 bells), colder inside the interesting wooden structure than outside!, 1 very nice 8 (new tower for everyone, I think), 1 rather grumpy tea room, and a chance for everyone to ring on 12 bells to end the day. Rounds on 12, Plain hunt x 11 and a bob course of Grandsire Caters for 4 youngsters.. Lovely to have youngsters joining us from all 6 Districts of the Association… from Lewisham to Ospringe to Willesborough to Benenden
3 youngsters rang for the first time away from their home tower…..such a great day. Thank you to all who hosted us, especially when we had to change venues at very short notice.
