RWNYC 2020 POSTPONED
I am very sorry to say that RWNYC 2020 has been postponed, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Until the last few days, I had been optimistic that the event could still go ahead on 4th July, but the rapid esclation of the situation means this is no longer viable.
I realise how disappointing this will be for the many young ringers hoping to participate in the contest and enjoy what promised to be an excellent day out in York. It is especially sad for those for whom 2020 is the last year they are eligible to take part.
I am working with the local organising team and the York Minster authorities to investigate the possibility of a date later in the year when we could reschedule the RWNYC. I will make a further announcement about this in due course.
