I’m advertising the next exciting Lewisham District training opportunity:
Listening skills for better striking – a workshop
Wednesday 1st May from 7.30-9pm, in the parish rooms at Bromley Parish church.
This classroom-based evening will involve honing your listening skills through a series of recordings of real ringing. Ideal for new ringers, but also suitable for more experienced ringers looking to judge striking competitions or to advise and improve the skills of their home band.
We have space for up to 15 students. Spaces are sure to go quickly, so book your place on the course soon to avoid disappointment!
While I’m emailing, a little bit of advanced notice that there will be two Saturday courses over the summer months; one on Plain Bob Doubles, and another on steeplekeeping and tower maintenance. Watch this space for dates and further details!
