The final District practice of 2024 is happening next Saturday 9th November at Chart Sutton, with ringing from 10am to 12pm. Please note that there are no facilities in the church. All are welcome, we hope to see some of you there.

Marden Bells have recently been tuned, and rehung by Nicholson Engineering of Bridport. Next Tuesday, 30th April, bell ringers are invited to a session of open ringing from 6:00pm until 7:30pm. I have received a message from the daughter of Douglas Bratt of Mereworth informing me of his recent death. Douglas was a longstanding member of the Association and taught many people to ring. Our thoughts are with his family at this time.
I am sorry to announce the death on 20th February of Roland King (many people knew him as Fred), who was Yalding Tower Captain in the 1960s. In recent years he rang at Hollingbourne. His funeral is at Yalding church at 12 noon on Wednesday 20th March.
