The funeral and memorial service arrangements for John Barnes are as follows:
There is to be a private family burial at St Martin of Tours, Chelsfield at 12.00 noon on Thursday 7th November followed by a Thanksgiving Service at 12.30 pm which is open to all. There will be a small reception elsewhere afterwards for family & close friends, so as it is anticipated that a large number of the ringing community may attend the service the Chelsfield band will provide tea, coffee and light refreshments in the church room afterwards. There is also a large number of pubs, garden centre cafes and high street restaurants within three miles of the church, we will be happy to provide suggestions & directions on the day.
Please note that although the church car park is on the larger side there is limited parking outside, so please try to car-share if you can.
