‘In November 2014 I advised the General Committee that after holding the post for 3 years it was not my intention to stand again as Handbook Editor at the AGM in April this year.
This means that, without the embarrassment of challenging an existing committee member, there is a General Committee post coming available this year. You need to have considerable attention to detail, ability with spreadsheet, database and word processing software and a certain amount of stamina and patience. I am in the process of finishing the data gathering process from towers and will shortly begin putting the 2015 Handbook together so if there is an aspiring editor out there who would like to get in contact with me (by email in the first instance please – ) I shall be pleased to go through with them what is involved. I am also prepared to help a new Handbook Editor next year (if required).’
