A busy day for youngsters in Kent..7 young ones rang with MINIs at East Farleigh. A big welcome to Ben and Will coming for the first time. Fewer Kent Young Ringer helpers today as several were struck down by illness so we were VERY grateful to Dan and Callum. Huge progress being made with up to 4 MINIs ringing together with Young helpers, making places and learning to call changes (“down” and “up”!!)
18 then met at Kent Young Ringers’ session at Marden, (3 came on with Shona after ringing QP Grandsire Triples at Tonbridge). Rang Call Changes, PB and Grandsire Doubles, P Hunt x7 and 8, P B Triples and Major, Stedman Triples and Cambridge S Major (just one adult needed in this today). The standard of ringing increases every time…….well done to Laura and Amber for keeping on top of running the ringing and also to Jamie for confidently calling the changes at our first Squad 2020 practice at Staplehurst. Thank you to everyone!(I can’t quite believe how much cake (and biscuits)got eaten today….especially at Minis!!!!

Matt called a peal of Bristol S Major yesterday; Alex called a QP of Grandsire Triples today and last, but definitely NOT least……. Dan rang in the Liverpool team which won the North West 12 Bell Contest. CONGRATULATIONS !!!
