Dear All,
Following on from the success of our virtual Call Change Competition last November, the committee have decided to go ahead with a virtual Striking Competition on Saturday 6th March at 10am, using Zoom and Ringing Room.
As with the previous competition, the rules have been rewritten taking into account the nature of virtual ringing, the most significant change being the need to only ring 120 changes, instead of the customary 240. Allowances have also been written in to hopefully deal with any potential internet problems. The rewritten rules for a virtual competition are attached.
A judge has already been arranged and it is hoped there will be a sufficient number of bands to make this a fun and worthwhile event.
