Did you know that church bell ringing is quite a popular subject on YouTube? There are hundreds of videos of church bell ringing from all over the UK & worldwide on there, so for a bit of fun I thought I would create a new feature for the website called ‘YouTube Weekly’. Each week, I will post one of the videos of church bell ringing from YouTube – it could be a personal favourite, or it may just be something that has been posted that week. I find it interesting both to see & hear bells and ringing from other places – there are even videos of bells & ringing in Kent to be seen!
The first video is below, and this week it’s just a personal favourite of mine. This is a band of ringers from Birmingham practising for the National 12-bell competition at Pier Head in Liverpool – these bells are exceptionally good, and this is some exceptional ringing which I enjoy listening to. I hope you do to!
