The bells at Northfleet are being re-dedicated on Saturday 30th July, as this was never done when the work was done on them many years ago to get them ringing again.
There will be open ringing from 2pm, followed by the re-dedication service led by the Bishop of Rochester at 3pm. After the service, there will be refreshments available and then further open ringing until around 6.30pm. Derek Wilkinson, Tower Captain, invites everyone to attend and take part in the festivities. Please do take the opportunity to go along and ring on these lovely bells, and let either Derek () or myself () know if you are planning to go so he can ensure there is enough food & drink for everyone.
