Peter Jeffrey, youngest son of Brian, the long standing Edenbridge tower captain and his wife Betty, passed away on Sunday 15th January. He was 55.
As a youngster, Peter would tag along with his parents to District events and resumed ringing at Edenbridge after a period of travelling. He took on the mantle of tower captain for a brief period after Brian’s death but stopped ringing when he subsequently moved to London.
Peter’s funeral will be at Edenbridge on Monday 6th February, at 2.15pm. Tower Captain Richard Dyson is organising ringing before and after the service. Please get in touch if you would like to join in.
