We will be holding the Rochester District 6-bell striking competition at St John the Baptist, Bredgar, ME9 8EX, on Saturday 20th April from 3pm.  This will be followed by the quarterly meeting.

For the 6-bell call change striking competition, we welcome all entrants.  Your ringers do not need to be members of KCACR (yet), in fact we encourage you invite your learners, especially if they have never rung in a striking competition before, as we would like to celebrate those achieving this for firsts month.  Ringers don’t need to be regulars at your tower, mixed scratch bands are welcome too.    The association rules can be found at:

[see page 2 for call changes]

For the 6-bell method striking competition, we do need your ringers to be members of KCACR and ring regularly at your tower.  This is so that the winning team is eligible to progress to the association competition to represent the Rochester District.  The association rules can be found at:

[see page 1 for methods]

Please could you let me know if you know that you plan to enter a band so that we have some idea of numbers.  There may be some time for open ringing following the competition.

This will be followed by a short quarterly meeting.   The draft minutes of the last meeting minutes are available at:

Please could you let your district secretary know if you have any agenda items or corrections to the minutes.

We hope to see you all there, especially your learners.
