There will be a Rochester District Practice on Saturday 18th November from 10:30 am at St Mary Magdalene Church, Cobham, DA12 3DB. This practice will be focused on ringing doubles and minor, in particular: plain hunting; plain bob doubles and minor; Grandsire doubles; St Martin’s doubles and Single Oxford Bob minor.  If you are looking for an opportunity to have a go or consolidate any of these, please do come along.
Florence says:

“Just to confirm it is OK for the ringers to use the Meadow Room carpark next Saturday morning. It is the building that looks like an old Victorian school, if you are approaching from the west it is on the left just before the chicane, and coming from the east, go through the village, past the  Leather Bottle pub and just as you come out of the chicane it will be on the right.”

I am intending to put the kettle on and provide coffee and biscuits in the church, so that people will have somewhere dry to wait if there are too many to fit in the ringing room.”

Please note also that the KCACR Service of Remembrance (see previous news on the KCACR website) will take place on Sunday 19th November at 3:15 pm at Rochester Cathedral with open ringing afterwards.
