There is a county 6-bell striking competition coming up on the 10th September (at Saltwood near Folkestone). The Rochester district has the opportunity to enter a call change and method ringing band. These need to be tower bands composed of regular Sunday service ringers (who are KCACR members). These would normally be the winners of the district striking competitions, however, these were not held due to Covid. The Rochester Cathedral band has volunteered for the method ringing competition. The district is still in need of a volunteer for the call change competition. If your tower can muster 6 call change ringers for the 10th of September for the honour of representing the Rochester district, we would be most grateful.
