It is with great pleasure that we can officially announce that the church and ringers at Stone-next-Dartford will be joining the Rochester district.
Stone used to have two bells, which have been replaced by the old six from Homerton (London). However, there was a problem with the tenor bell and this was melted down and recast at Whitechapel weighing 7-
The bells will be dedicated on Sunday, 16th January and it is hoped they will be hung and ringing in time for Easter.
