Tom’s handbells are being blessed on Sunday January 23rd at Mass at St. Michael & All Angels, Maidstone. Ringing for Mass is 09:50 to 10:30. Mass is 10:30 to 11:45 approx. Please let me know as soon as possible if you intend to go to Mass and see the bells blessed before they are passed on to the Kent Young Ringers.
After the service the handbells will be pealed in the Ascension Chapel and also a peal on the big bells will be taking place.
The church hall will be open from 12:30 to 3pm for people to come and listen and see the bells in honour of Tom.
Please bring a bottle to share or a plate to share or both.
