In view of the increased precautions and anxiety surrounding COVID at the moment the District Christmas ringing to be held on Saturday 11th December at Brasted will be going ahead with the following precautions in place:
The ringing room will be very well ventilated as the west door to the church will remain open at all times, enabling a through draught to the ringing room and bell chamber (and hence out into the church yard). There will be a CO2 monitor working in the ringing room throughout.
Ringers attending are advised to dress warmly.
8 anticlockwise bells. Ringing until 5pm Mince pies and mulled wine in the church.
