It’s that time of year again and the ADM is upon us! On Saturday 15th October we will have a full afternoon of ringing at Newington (6) comprising of training and the regular District Practice, and the ADM will be slotted in at some point along the way!

Remember, all District Officer positions are open to nominations – in particular this year we are looking for someone to take over the roles of Treasurer, Bookstall and one District Rep. If you or anyone you know would be interested, please get in touch.

The training session this time round, which will run from 2pm to 4.30pm, is ‘Raising and Lowering in Peal’, specifically aimed at those ringers who can ring up & down on their own confidently but would like to move on to doing so in peal with a band. We have 6 places available, first come first served, so please contact either myself or Helen Webb if you would like a place. We will also need helpers, so if you are available and would be willing to help out please get in touch too.  Cost is £5 per person.

The District Practice part of the ADM will run from approximately 5.00pm to 7.00pm, all welcome.

Afterwards, we are hoping to enjoy a meal together at The Jenny Wren pub in Kemsley. Nothing formal, just a nice friendly get-together so we can socialise outside of the ringing chamber. If you would like to join us, please let me know as soon as possible, but no later than Saturday 8th October, so I can confirm numbers to the pub. Their menu is available online here (we don’t need to pre-order).
