Something a little different this week.  Most of us have peal boards in our towers or have at least seen them in other towers, often they represent a particularly special event for which ringing took place.  In Liverpool they had just such a peal board, but it was very dirty and hardly readable anymore – so the local band looked to a conservator to bring it back to it’s former glory.  This short video gives a glimpse into this conservation process, fascinating to watch & see the end result.  Enjoy!
