Not all rings of bells around the country sound wonderful – take this rather mournful-sounding example from Elmley Castle in Worcestershire. Apparently they aren’t going to sound like this for much longer, so I thought it would be a good opportunity for a ‘before and after’ type experience. Enjoy (if you can) the ‘before’ sound, and hopefully I’ll be able to post the ‘after’ sound at some point in the future!
