The bells of Hitchin in Hertfordshire have recently been augmented to 12+1 and remodelled so that the old 9th is now the tenor of the new ring. This brings the weight of the tenor down from 29cwt to 17cwt. Sounds like they’ve done a good job to me. Enjoy!
