The County AGM this year will be on Easter Monday 6th April and will be based at Marden. As usual the day will comprise a service, lunch and the Annual General Meeting itself. A variety of towers within the Maidstone District will be open on three routes leading towards Marden in the morning and back to neighbouring Districts in the early evening.
The service will take place at St Michael and All Angels, Marden TN12 9HP starting at 12noon, and will be preceded by ringing by an invited band from 11.30am. There will however be open ringing from 11 – 11.30am.
Lunch will be at the Marden Memorial Hall, Goudhurst Road, Marden TN12 9JX commencing at 1pm, and the cost will be £10 per head for a 3-course meal followed by tea and coffee. Due to the limited space at the Memorial Hall advance booking is essential and places will be available on a first-come-first-served basis. A licensed bar will be available serving real ale together with wine and soft drinks. Places may be booked in one of the following ways:
- The preferred way is to book online. Please make payment to KCACR Maidstone District A/C No: 83298878 Sort Code: 60-60-08 using the reference AGM Meal, informing Sue Bassett at email@example.com that you have done so. An acknowledgement will be e-mailed to you.
- For those not online please send a cheque made payable to “KCACR” to Mrs Sue Bassett, 23 Hanmer Way, Staplehurst, Tonbridge Kent TN12 0NR. An acknowledgement will only be sent if an SAE is enclosed.
Please note that to save on costs no tickets will be issued but names will be checked against a list at the door. The closing date for booking lunch is 22nd March.
