I am sorry to send out the very sad news that Alan died this morning at 11am in hospital.
For those of you who weren’t aware, Alan was taken into hospital about 10 days ago due to a very fast heart beat and he’d also caught Covid and did become very unwell in recent days.
The family were able to go into hospital last night and had quite a lucid conversation with him but sadly he was unable to pull through and slipped away this morning. Along with the cancer he’d been fighting it just all became too hard.
We shall all miss him immensely for many reasons.
I have no other details at this time but we will all be thinking of his family at this very sad time.
