Wanting to learn how to teach bell-handling?
We are organising another ART M1 training course at St Saviour’s, Westgate-on-Sea on Saturday 6th June.
This course is aimed at those who are either involved in teaching bell handling or who would like to learn how to teach bell handling and aged 14 or older. You should also have sufficiently good bell control to be able to inspire confidence in others and an ability to comfortably raise and lower a bell. The course itself will offer a mix of practical activities and discussions.
If you are interested in signing up for this course, please visit https://events.bellringing.org/en/events/courses/teaching-course-module-1-st-saviour-s-westgate-on-sea-kent. The access code is 1380.
The course costs £30 to attend although the KCACR will refund this. Details of how to do this will be given at the course. Delegates are advised to bring a packed lunch on the day, or make their own arrangements for lunch at a pub or café. There is a fish and chip shop nearby. Please note, the lunch break is limited to one hour, so if visiting a busy food outlet, it may be worth pre-ordering meals so that they can be served promptly.
There will be a £5.00 tower donation and donations would also be welcome for light refreshments.
