i) Phil Barnes, KCACR Chairman will be attending the Ashford District Meeting (ADM) to give an update about the Associations plans to register as a charity. This will be at the ADM under agenda item 6ii) of KCACR matters. Phil Barnes will be attending the ADM to discuss this item and to answer any questions you may have regarding this matter. If you are unable to join the meeting and would like to ask a question, please email your question to Maureen by Wednesday October 14th and she will take it to the meeting.
ii) Prior to the ADM on 17th October 2020 David Robinson, District Ringing Master, will be running another Ringing Room session from 9.30-10.00am. If you haven’t done this before but are interested in taking part you will have to sign up for a Ringing Room account and use a Zoom account. If you would like to attend, please contact David (david.).
iii) It would be useful to have an overview of any bands in the district who are managing to adhere to the Covid-19 guidance and undertake ringing activities, no matter how limited these are. So if you are managing to ring for Sunday service, have a short practice, ring handbells or even just getting together as a band socially via Zoom please would your Tower Contact/Secretary/Captain email Maureen the details, please, eg frequency, no. of bells being rung, purpose e.g service, practice, weddings.
iv) The zoom link for the ADM will be emailed within the next few days.
