The first of these practices will be held at Ashford on Wednesday February 6th from 1930-2115.

The aim of the practices is to give members from all corners of the Association the opportunity to develop their ten bell ringing beyond the basics. We will concentrate on ringing Stedman Caters and Surprise Royal. Attendees should come prepared to ring Cambridge and Yorkshire Royal as an entry level and Swindon and London No.3 if they want to stretch beyond these. Obviously what we ring will depend on who attends.

Further practices will be held every two months either on the last Wednesday or Thursday in the month. The provisional schedule is:

March 28th (Thurs) Rochester Cathedral 1930-2115
May 29th (Weds) All Saints Maidstone 1915-2100
July 31st (Weds) Ashford 1915-2100
September 26th (Thurs) Rochester Cathedral 1930-2115
November 27th (Weds) All Saints Maidstone 1915-2100

The basics of ten bell ringing should be catered for more locally at District level. These Advanced Practices aren’t intended to help those who want to try rounds on ten, Plain Bob or Grandsire and we don’t want members to have wasted trip. If there is a demand for more opportunities to get grounding in ten bell ringing please contact your District officers and we will try to cater accordingly.
