Quarter peal month 2010

The first ever district quarter peal month has been very successful.A total of 14 quarter peals were scored at 9 towers in the district during November 2010. Bobbing, Cobham, Hoo, Meopham and Rochester Cathedral each rang two quarters, and Eastchurch, Gravesend, High Halstow and Swanscombe rang one quarter each. In Read more…

Stone bells dedicated

The new bells of Stone-next-Dartford were dedicated by the new Bishop of Rochester on Sunday, 16th January 2011. District Outing a success!

The Rochester district outing 2010 has been another ‘roaring’ success. This year it was held around the Ashdown Forest, Sussex where A.A. Milne lived and was inspired to write ‘Winnie-the-Pooh’.
