I am sorry to announce that Ray Morgan, a longstanding and loyal member of the Rochester Cathedral Company of Bell Ringers and a former Chairman of the Rochester District died peacefully on Monday 19th December after being diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in June this year. Absent for around 20 years, regular bell ringing is back at St George’s Church in Gravesend after rector Chris Stone approached Peter Joyce to teach a band back in 2015.
