The Association 6-Bell competitions will be taking place on Saturday 27th September at St Margaret’s, Barming. The draw for the Inter-District 6-Bell Competition will be at 9:40 and the competition will start at 10:00. This is the method competition and, as usual, is open to one band from each District which is usually the winner of that District’s striking competition. Each team will need to ring 240 changes of either a Doubles or a Minor method.
The 6-Bell Call-Change Competition will take place in the afternoon, with the draw at 2:00pm. The competition will begin at 2:15pm. The General Committee agreed that the 6-Bell Call-Change Competition will follow the format of last year, including the suspension of rules 1-4 (as per 2024). These rules will be revised prior to next year’s competition. This is an open competition and is open to towers or groups of ringers. The test piece will be 10 minutes of call-changes (approximately 250 rows) and 5 bells must be affected by the calls. Entries are invited for this competition and will be limited to no more than 10 teams.
Rules for both competitions are available in this year’s Handbook and on the KCACR website.
Please confirm your entry to either competition by Sunday 21st September by email to .
