An unprecedented number of young ringers filled the ringing room… 21 in all, with youngsters coming from all directions… Sandwich, Sidcup, Penshurst, Marden and everywhere in between. A big welcome to Dylan, Matthew and Amy coming for the first time . I almost forgot that it was actually the first time Lucy, Tess and Anna had come on a Saturday as they seemed to have merged so seamlessly with the group on our December outing.
What did we ring? Rounds & Call Changes, plain huntx7, P B Doubles, Grandsire Triples, Stedman Triples (no adult help and no Dan!!) Well done everyone!
A very busy, buzzy session..the flapjacks and biscuits disappeared pretty fast, too.
QP attempt of P B Major an hour later had some very nice ringing but rather fell apart after Laura’s glasses hit the floor(!)…. next time….
