Where will you be on the afternoon of Saturday 2nd March? Hopefully the answer is at Ash (please note the venue change) ringing in the Lewisham District Striking Competition!
With only two weeks to go, it’s time to start putting a band together and as in previous years, although officially your team should consist of your regular Sunday service ringers, in order to encourage as many entries as possible, combined bands are welcome.
The only caveat to having combined bands is that the team selected to represent the District at the County competition later this year, will need to comply with the current rules, but don’t let this discourage you from entering.
If your tower is short of a couple of ringers or you yourself would like to ring in the competition but are not part of a band, then please get in touch with any of the District Officers and we will happily try to arrange something.
The draw is set for 2.30pm and entries should be emailed to ideally by Saturday 23rd Feb.
