On a beautifully sunny morning East Malling graciously hosted the Maidstone District 6-bell Striking Competition. There were two rounds with six teams entering for the call change round and four teams entering the method striking round. The winners were:
Call Change Striking: East Malling.
Method Striking: Staplehurst.
Marden won the trophy for the ‘Most Improved Band’.
