Most of us are lucky enough to ring in towers where the bells and installations are in a good state of repair. The ringers at Great Malvern Priory in Worcestershire however are not so fortunate. As you can see from this weeks’ video, there is a lot of frame movement which not only makes the bells difficult to ring (I have personally experienced this) but it’s also damaging the fabric of the tower. Interesting to watch, but worrying as well.
