On Saturday 17th April 2010 both the striking and call change competitions for our district were held at Chalk and won by Meopham. After nearly six months of silence the bells of St Margaret, Rainham rung out for the service on Easter Sunday. We regret to announce that on 6th July 2009, whilst carrying out initial lightweight dismantling work in connection with replacing bearings at Northfleet, Tony Cresswell of Chevening fell approx 20 feet when a section of the permanent floor on which he was standing collapsed.
